The ING Miami Marathon has agreed to extend the $70 registration fee to December 31. Through December 5th you should register via the ING Miami Marathon web site http://www.ingmiamimarathon.com/

From December 6 through December 31 please mail your registration form and money to your team captain so they may bundle them together and send them by December 31 to:

You or your team captain will need to write USCAA in bold letters at the top of the form. If time runs short you can mail individual registration forms and money directly to Robert Pozo but please make sure to clearly label your entry as USCAA.

I'm currently collecting information on possible sites for the 2007 USCAA Corporate Cup Marathon and hope to have the list of possibilities out to everyone in late December. We'll vote on the 2007 marathon site at the 2006 USCAA Corporate Cup Marathon Awards Ceremony on January 29th at 5pm at the USCAA designated hotel -- Wyndham Miami Airport, 3900 NW 21st Street, Miami, FL, 305-871-3800.

The 2006 USCAA Marathon Championship designated hotel will be the wonderful Wyndham Miami Airport hotel. It is two minutes from the Miami International Airport and about 10 minutes by car from the Miami Marathon start and finish. Their rooms are $149 per night plus tax and include either two double beds or one king bed. The hotel's web site is: www.wyndham.com/hotels/MIAAP/main.wnt

They have offered to shuttle runners to and from the race in groups and set out a pre-marathon meal of coffee, juice, bagels and toast at 4am. They also offer free shuttle service to and from the airport.
